A little about us...

Tub-Time Treasures was founded in 2010 as a home-based bath and body business. We have since grown into our own retail location with space enough to host make & takes, classes and events.

The owner, Renee Lillie, is a proud member of the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetics Guild, as well as a board member for the Lovin' Soap Project.  We are a small company that takes great pride in creating happily handcrafted products that are appealing to the eye (and nose!), are fun to use and nourish the skin. We make all of our own products in-house in small batches. This gives us the opportunity to formulate custom batches for customers as well as to ensure high-quality products each and every batch.

Renee Lillie is a crafter at heart, and has always enjoyed creating beautiful objects in one form or another. Her interest in bath and body products started in 2009 when she happened across some cupcake bath bombs, and decided to start making them herself. In 2010, after a year’s worth of product research and testing, she opened Tub-Time Treasures and began making Cold Process soap as well as bath bombs, lotions, lip butters and scrubs. Soap making became her passion, and in 2013, she left a 15 year medical career to make soap full-time.

As someone who spent over a decade in the medical field, Renee is passionate about developing products that are truly beneficial to customers. She loves making a difference in people’s lives, and  makes products with her customers in mind, customizing personal batches and tweaking recipes to bring the maximum benefit to her clients. Her products are formulated to be good for the skin, first and foremost.. with fragrance and visual appeal being secondary. Renee loves talking about soap and has taught classes for the local community college, as well as in her own shop.
